Mark T. VuonoACBA Secretary is a 1977 Notre Dame graduate and received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1980, following which he was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Florida. He is a partner in Vuono & Gray, LLC, representing family businesses and individuals in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, tax and estate planning, estate administration, commercial real estate, and transportation law. He presently is the President of ACBA Services, Inc. and has served on the board of directors since 2002, and formerly served as Treasurer and a member of the ACBA Board of Governors from 2006–2008, chairing both the Investments Committee and the ad hoc Strategic Financial Planning Committee. He is an ACBA Fellow. Vuono has been a member of the ACBA Finance Committee since 1991, serving as vice-chair and chair and on the unrelated business income tax and audit subcommittees. He has served on the Lawyers Insurance Committee since 1981 (current vice-chair, former chair); has volunteered for KD & You and the Law for many years; and has served on the Council of the Taxation Section since the 1980s (former treasurer, vice-chair, and chair). He previously served on the Public Relations and Nominating Committees, other ad hoc committees, and played sax and clarinet with the ACBA Players. Vuono is a PBA Zone 12 delegate and serves on the board of directors of Neighborhood Legal Services Association and its Audit Committee. He has served as an officer and board member of the West Allegheny Football Boosters and Wrestling Boosters and coached youth baseball and soccer. He is a past president of the Notre Dame Club of Pittsburgh and recipient of its Award for Distinguished Service and Commitment.
