The ACBA has a number of intramural teams on which our members can play.
Basketball
The ACBA runs a basketball league for lawyers and paralegals
who are members and associate members of the association. Teams compete
in three divisions based on their basketball experience and skills. Approximately
25-30 teams participate each year. Games are played on Sunday and Monday
nights at St. Edmund's Academy in Squirrel Hill. The season begins in
the first or second week of January and runs through approximately the
middle of April. Members and associate members interested in participating
in the league should contact Scott Millhouse at 412-553-7063.
Ice Hockey
The ACBA ice hockey team is comprised primarily of practicing attorneys in
Allegheny County. The team started its first season in January 2006
and plays year round. The team competes in the A and B leagues at Southpoint,
Iceoplex Arena. Games are usually played on Thursday through Sunday

The team is always looking for new players. The team competes at an
advanced skill level, but with
enough interest would be able to field multiple teams at different levels
of expertise.
