The ACBA Board of Governors recently approved the permanent petition by the Women in the Law Division to require the inclusion of implicit bias content in all continuing judicial education programs. Moving forward, any CLE program that wishes to be approved for CJE has to include implicit bias content. The Women in the Law Division has put together a handout
that goes into further detail about this initiative and provides contacts for those seeking assistance in meeting this new CJE requirement. You can also find a list of implicit bias resources on the WLD website: https://www.acbawld.org/implicit-bias
If you are planning an event (reception, holiday party, annual meeting, golf tournament, etc.) please complete this
Event Planning form. This form MUST be submitted no fewer than sixty (60) days prior to the proposed event date.
