Help the Food Bank pack 64,000 boxes of food in 16 weeks!

The Allegheny County Bar Foundation’s Attorneys Against Hunger program is partnering with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank on an ambitious project: packing and distributing 64,000 boxes of groceries for underprivileged families from May to September. Through the TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) Project, the Food Bank is mobilizing volunteers to pack boxes at its warehouse in Duquesne. Children age 12 and up are welcome.

Please consider volunteering on a Tuesday or Thursday evening from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. The Food Bank estimates it will need 25-30 volunteers each Tuesday and Thursday through September. To sign up or for more details, please contact Erin Rhodes at the bar foundation at 412-402-6641 or erhodes@acba.org.
