ACBA President James W. Creenan is a Canisius College graduate. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. He was admitted to practice in 1997 and has worked for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. and the United States Department of Labor. Currently, he works at Creenan & Baczkowski, PC. He has formerly served on the ACBA Board of Governors in 2003-2006, and is serving a term from 2010-2015. He served as Treasurer from 2010-2012. He has chaired the Investment Committee, the Unrelated Business Income Tax Committee, Young Lawyers Division, and Finance Committee. He served as Treasurer and Trustee for the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. He is an ACBF Fellow. He has also been a member of the Loans and Scholarships Committee, Investment Committee, Headquarters Committee, Public Service Committee, Strategic Financial Planning Committee, Nominating Committee, and the Construction Law Section. He is Committee Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section. He is on the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s House of Delegates, and serves with the PBA Task Force on Loan Repayment and Forgiveness, PBA Task Force on Loan Repayment Implementation, and PBA Task Force on the Young Lawyers Division. He served on the PBA Planning Committee from 2005-2008. He is Secretary of the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce, on the board of Murrysville Business and Professional Association, and is a member of Mother of Sorrows Parish Finance Council.
