For the Public

Welcome to the Allegheny County Bar Association’s For the Public website, which is dedicated to addressing the legal needs and questions of the general public. Surveys have shown that 7 in 10 households may need a lawyer this year, but only half of those households will seek one out because they don't know how to find a lawyer or don't know how much one will cost.

This site will answer your questions or will point you in the right direction. It will also let you know about the free legal programs or legal brochures available through the Allegheny County Bar Association.
