This Section shall work with the Judges of the Civil Division of the
Court of Common Pleas and the Judges of Federal District Court on
questions and problems concerning civil litigation, inform its members
of developments in the field of civil litigation and when appropriate,
propose and support changes, amendments, modifications, and improvements in common law, statutory law, and the rules of court.
It shall also promote dialogue between the Bench and the Bar to achieve
the common goal of the more efficient administration of law, including
scheduling of trials, trial list problems, jury selection problems,
and any other matters of common interest. The Section shall also promote
the education of civil trial lawyers by providing seminars and programs
and filling any educational void where determined to be appropriate.
