The Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA) is a professional organization with more than 6,600 member lawyers, judges, magisterial district judges, legal administrators, and paralegals. Our members work to improve the profession, the communities in which they live, and the administration of justice in society.

- The Homer S. Brown Division will hold its annual Black History Month program on February 21, 2012 at the August Wilson Center from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This event is open to all ACBA members and is free of charge. Please RSVP to Marlene Ellis at mellis@acba.org. The Division will also honor Bill Strickland with a Spirit Award and award the Oliver L. Johnson Scholarship to the winner of the law student essay contest.
- ACBA Judiciary Committee to interview candidates interested in receiving a rating for the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas or any other court of the Commonwealth of Pa. or U.S. Federal Court.
