Job-seekers often look to the Allegheny County Bar Association for career guidance and job placement help. After all, who knows more about job openings in the Pittsburgh-area legal community than the ACBA?
ACBA Legal Employment Services works with a variety of area law firms, corporations and nonprofit organizations. We are well-versed on the needs of Pittsburgh-area employers.

Here’s how it works:
♦ ACBA Legal Employment Services is free to any and all applicants. You don’t have to be an ACBA member to work with us.
♦ We specialize in helping applicants seeking positions as attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, legal secretaries and legal administrators.
♦ Both those candidates who are currently employed and looking for a career change, as well as individuals who are currently unemployed, are welcome to take advantage of these services. Additionally, students preparing to seek positions within the legal field are also welcome.
♦ All applicant information is kept strictly confidential. We will release your name to an employer only if you authorize us to do so.
♦ We keep our “finger on the pulse” of the local job market and know where the current openings are. Often, these openings are not publicly advertised on other job boards.
♦ When we find an opportunity that might be a fit for your skill set and experience, we will forward your resume to the hiring manager.
♦ In addition to placement services, we can also provide interviewing tips and help perfecting your resume.
♦ Confidential, one-on-one career counseling appointments are available. Our office is tucked away on the third floor of the Koppers Building. This helps with confidentiality by keeping you away from the flurry of activity occurring in ACBA headquarters on the fourth floor.
