Allegheny County Bar Foundation to Welcome Pittsburgh's New Law School Deans at Membership Luncheon on October 19th
October 17, 2005 – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Robert V. Racunas, President of the Allegheny County Bar Association,
today announced that the association will welcome the city’s two
new law school deans at a membership luncheon to be held at the William
Penn Hotel on October 19th. Mary A. Crossley, Dean of the University
of Pittsburgh School of Law and Donald J. Guter, Dean of Duquesne University
School of Law, will each make comments at the event. The media is invited
to attend.
According to Racunas, “While Dean Crossley and Dean Guter have
already been on the job for a couple of months, we want to give them
an official welcome from the members of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
We have a long tradition of working closely with Duquesne University
Law School and the University of Pittsburgh Law School, and we look
forward to continuing these successful partnerships. It is no surprise
that our reservations for this luncheon are rapidly coming in since
many of our members are proud graduates of either of the two law schools.”
The luncheon will begin at noon in the 17th Floor Ballroom of the William
Penn Hotel. Dean Crossley and Dean Guter will make their comments toward
the end of lunch.
The Allegheny County Bar Association, headquartered in downtown
Pittsburgh, is a professional organization with more than 6,700 member
attorneys, judges, magisterial district judges, law students, legal administrators
and paralegals.
