Keri P. Ebeck
Keri Ebeck is Treasurer of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
Ms. Ebeck is a partner with Bernstein-Burkley, P.C. and her practice is focused on bankruptcy law, with expertise in consumer bankruptcy and real estate bankruptcy.
Ms. Ebeck speaks nationally on Chapter 7, 12 and 13 matters involving creditors. She was recognized for her bankruptcy law prowess in the 2020, 2021 and 2022 editions of the Pennsylvania’s Best Lawyers publication, and she is certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification.
A graduate of King’s College, Ms. Ebeck earned a B.A. of Political Science in 2000. She then attended Roger Williams University School of Law, earning her juris doctorate in 2003. She’s admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania; the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana; the Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas; the Northern District Court of Ohio; the Third Circuit Court of Appeals; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Ebeck has been involved in numerous aspects of the ACBA throughout her legal career, including the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section and the Finance Committee.
In addition to the ACBA, Ms. Ebeck also is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Legal & Financial Network, the Judith K. Fitzgerald Western Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Inns of Court, Legal League 100, the International Women’s Insolvency & Construction Federation and Turnaround Management Association.
Outside of the legal community, Ms. Ebeck is a volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
