ACBA Law Day Committee Project

Law Day was established in 1957, when American Bar Association (ABA) President Charles S. Rhyne envisioned a special day for celebrating our legal system. On February 3, 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower established Law Day by issuing a Proclamation. Every President since then has issued an annual Law Day Proclamation. Law Day is celebrated on May 1st of each year. The theme for this year is “Advancing the Rule of Law Now.” In honor of this theme, and in light of the ongoing pandemic, the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA) is bringing Law Day to the virtual classroom through these filmed discussions with local professionals on relevant topics. The videos will be available on May 1.
