A Statement From ACBA President Jim Creenan About The Story On Inappropriate Emails

October 17, 2014

Public confidence in the judiciary is among our highest concerns.

These developing revelations about the distributions of e-mails are disturbing on many levels. There is no place in our system of justice for the discriminatory, unprofessional and highly offensive matters that underlie these stories.

We ask the members of the Supreme Court to take all action necessary to restore and preserve that confidence.

In the meantime, until there is a conclusion to this sad chapter, we want the people of Pennsylvania to know that our jurists work very hard to uphold our expectations of the highest levels of personal and professional conduct.
