Lawyers on Board

The latest in the ACBA’s Pathways to Leadership series, this program is intended to introduce attorneys to the benefits, both professional and personal, of serving on boards of directors. The program will feature a panel discussion on why board service is important/relevant, how to “sell” board service to your supervisor/firm leadership, the practical and ethical considerations for lawyers on boards.

Panelists will include a diverse group of lawyers who will share what motivated them to join boards, what challenges they have encountered in their board service experience and the benefits they have enjoyed.

The panel presentation will be followed by a mix-and-mingle reception.
