This supportive community combines the benefits of movement, nature, and connection. The group explores local trails at a comfortable pace while encouraging mindfulness, stress reduction, physical wellness, and meaningful conversation. The annual ACBF Pro Bono Achievement Awards are an opportunity to recognize individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions in service to individuals and families with low incomes in Allegheny County. The Access to Justice Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2026 awards. Members are encouraged to attend and help celebrate legal aid attorneys, law firms, corporations, judges and anyone else who works to ensure equal access to justice for all.

The awards will be presented at the Fall Foundation Reception on Tuesday, September 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Hotel Monaco. The winners and their nominators will be invited to attend as guests.

The Pittsburgh Legal Journal publishes timely, precedent-setting, full-text opinions from various divisions of the Court of Common Pleas. Opinions that appeared in past editions are available in a searchable database here; members must be logged in to the ACBA website to access this database.
