Motion and Petition Practice
This non-CLE program will offer attendees helpful information about motion and petition practice in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Orphans’ Court Division. Topics of discussion will include distinctions between motions and petitions, filing and presentation procedures, and notice requirements, among others. Those in attendance will hear from an experienced Orphans’ Court practitioner as well as the Motions Coordinator.

If cancelling your registration, you must notify the Allegheny County Bar Association by email CLEcancel@acba.org no later than 2 business days prior to the CLE course presentation date in order to receive a 100% refund; 1 business day or less, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
The Allegheny County Bar Association welcomes the transferring of a CLE registration to a substitute course date and time. If you do not attend the CLE course and did not notify Allegheny County Bar Association in the appropriate advanced notice, you waive eligibility for a refund. Also, cancellation received after the day of the program will not be refunded.
The Allegheny County Bar Association reserves the right to modify or cancel a program if circumstances warrant. If the ACBA cancels a program, the cost of that program will be refunded.
