Live Webinar CLE – Bridge the Gap
Zoom
Tue, July 14, 2026
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM ET
Presented by the Allegheny County Bar Association
Bridge the Gap
Transitioning from law student to practicing lawyer is not easy. The award-winning “Bridge the Gap” program – which was developed by a Supreme Court of Pennsylvania subcommittee – was designed to help recent law school graduates’ transition from law student to practitioners.
In recent years, the Disciplinary Board of Pennsylvania has recorded an increasing number of complaints filed against newly admitted lawyers for violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct, specifically rules which directly relate to the practical aspects of operating a law office. One of the goals of this program is to help those making the transition avoid such pitfalls.
The program is presented online, complete with video clips, interactive surveys, and other audio-visual learning features. Bridge the Gap is owned by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board and is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that individuals new to the practice of law help to sustain Pennsylvania’s strong and principled legal profession.
