Zoom

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET
Presented by the Allegheny County Bar Association Sole and Small Firm Practitioners Section
AI and Criminal Law
This program will explore the practical and ethical use of artificial intelligence in a criminal law practice. Whether you are new to AI or already experimenting with emerging technologies, this session will provide practical guidance and real-world examples to help criminal law practitioners responsibly leverage these tools to better serve their clients and strengthen their advocacy.
Attendees will experience real-time demonstrations of an AI tool working through a criminal matter from intake to appeal. Demonstrations will show how to ethically use AI tools to speed up intake processes, draft preliminary filings, and review discovery. There will be an overlay discussion of particular ethics points to be aware of while using AI tools in a practitioner's work.
