Purpose:
The Appellate Practice Committee meets every other month on the fourth Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the ACBA Headquarters or via webinar.
This Committee is intended to provide a forum for information, education and the development of professional relationships among members of the Allegheny County Bar in the area of federal and state appellate practice and procedure. The purposes of this Committee are to encourage efficient appellate court administration, to provide review and comment on proposed rules of appellate procedure and to promote effective appellate advocacy among members of the bar of Allegheny County. It is expected that the Committee will provide educational seminars, forums for speakers in the area of appellate practice and other opportunities for interchange in the development and interaction of the members.
