Purpose:

The ACBA Community Service Committee meets on the second Thursday of each month from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. via webinar.

The Community Service Committee encourages and facilitates Bar Association member participation in community service activities – connecting ACBA members with opportunities to give back to the Greater Pittsburgh Community. To further its mission, the ACBA Community Service Committee shall:

(1) continually seek information from local charitable and service organizations about their goals, plans and needs;
(2) periodically publish notice and information to ACBA members of community service opportunities;
(3) recognize past service done by ACBA members;
(4) identify and present community service projects and service opportunities that could best benefit from the formal support of the Committee and the ACBA.
