I’ve Been Hacked. Now What?
Cyberattacks against law firms of all sizes are happening every day, with the potential for disaster. Attorneys and staff also face cyber risks at home. Planning in advance to detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents can make a major difference in the outcome.
Law firms of all sizes should have an Incident Response Plan, appropriately scaled to the size of the firm and sensitivity of the information. Particularly important is listing external resources like breach counsel, cyber insurance carrier, and law enforcement.
