Purpose:

The Social Security Practitioners Committee meets on the first Monday of each month from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the ACBA Headquarters or via webinar.

This Committee is charged with the responsibility of educating the bar, exchanging information, and discussing mutual problems and solutions for local and national problems regarding the Social Security Administration Disability Program. This Committee shall study and recommend legislative proposals, respond to Notices of Proposed Rule Making announced by the Social Security Administration, and interact between the Social Security Administrative Law Judges, office staff and Committee members with the express purpose of advancing and improving the adjudication process for attorneys and their clients.
