Top Three Ways Attackers Target You

According to the Sans Institute, “Social engineering attacks, in which adversaries trick people into doing something they shouldn’t, are one of the most common methods that cyber attackers use to target people.” Common attacks include phishing, smishing (SMS text phishing) and vishing (voice phishing). Cybercriminals are even using deepfake videos, in one case using a deepfake video meeting with a “chief financial officer” directing a fraudulent wire transfer.
