If you’re planning on attending the ACBA Bench-Bar Conference, don’t delay. Nearly 15 Pennsylvanians die from an overdose every day; being a Good Samaritan as it relates to opioid addiction can save a life. All members are invited to join the ACBA Health and Wellness Committee and an array of community partners for “Opioid Awareness Workshop: Save a Life, Save the World” on Thursday, June 5 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Law Offices of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney. The event will include Narcan training and comments from local paramedics, a parent impacted by an overdose, personal testimonials and more. Light Kosher breakfast and overdose prevention kits will be provided.

All members and guests are invited to join the LGBTQ+ Rights Committee to participate in the annual Pittsburgh Pride Parade on Sunday, June 1 in downtown Pittsburgh. The event is hosted by the Pittsburgh Pride Group, a consortium of local LGBTQIA+ organizations that works together to create community focused pride events.
