The ACBA’s newly formed Legacy Lawyers Committee is comprised of long-experienced ACBA members committed to the preservation and enhancement of our local dignified legal culture and collegial practice. The committee’s multiple goals include providing flexible avenues of mentorship by more senior ACBA members for the benefit of other ACBA members.

It’s time to renew your ACBA membership.

All ACBA members should have received an email on June 5 containing a link where you can renew your membership for the 2026-27 bar year, which began on July 1. Members also will have the opportunity to make changes to their membership, such as adding committee or section memberships. For a snapshot of the benefits of becoming an ACBA member, click below. The Kennedy T. Friend Scholarship Fund was established by the will of Kennedy T. Friend, a distinguished member of the ACBA who passed in London, England in 1929. Any child of an attorney who is a member of the Allegheny County Bar and has an active practice in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, is eligible for this scholarship if they choose to attend Yale University or the successor schools of the University of Paris.
